The Hooks Hornets and the Lady Hornets both competed in Idabel tournament action over the holiday break. The boys finished 2-1 and capped it off with a 65-37 win over New Boston in the consolation final. Landon Hamilton scored 26 points and Jatavious Johnson chipped in 14. Hamilton also earned a spot on the All-Tournament team for his play.
The Lady Hornets, frsh off their overtime upset of the Queen City Lady Bulldogs, finished 1-2 in the tournament with their two losses coming to two highly ranked teams. The ladies wrapped up the tournament with a 60-46 win today over Eagletown, OK. 10 players scored for the Lady Hornets in a great team effort.
The Lady Hornets are now 17-7 on the season and the Hornets are 164.
