Lady Dragons take down Lady Tigers

The Lady Dragons hosted the Lady Tigers of Clarksville last Tuesday night. After a pretty even 1st quarter, the Lady Dragons came alive in the 2nd quarter to outscore the Lady Tigers 20-11 to take an 8 point lead into the intermission, 32-24. The Lady Dragons came out in the 2nd half and continued a great defensive effort holding the Lady Tigers to just 4 points in the 3rd and led 44-28 at the end of the quarter. The Lady Dragons would go on to earn another win by a score of 56-42. The Lady Dragons were led by Karley Latham with 17 points. Isabel Turner came up big with 11 points. Landy Canto chipped in 10 pts. Kaylee Calicott got in the scorer’s column with 6 pts, shooting 6 of 8 from the free throw line. Leila Tilbury and Avery Waldrop added 4 points each. Mattie Campbell had 3 points, and Kyndlee Clark got on the board with 1point from the charity stripe.
