Thirteen Texas hunters and one from California were recently selected as winners in the 2022-23 Big Time Texas Hunts random drawing for 14 premium hunting packages given away by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
Around since 1996, the BTTH is TPWD’s rendition of the Texas Lottery. Rather than buying tickets for a popular scratch-off game like Texas Road Trip, Texas hunters are given the opportunity to buy inexpensive chances to win a real road trip to a topnotch hunting destination. Each chance costs $10.
There are 10 hunt categories, including white-tailed deer, big horn sheep, exotics, dove, wild turkey, waterfowl, exotics, pronghorn antelope and desert mule deer and alligator.
