The Juneteenth Celebration Committee in DeKalb will host their annual parade and celebration on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
This year as always, the Juneteenth parade will wind its way through DeKalb and culminate with the celebraworking tion at DeKalb City Park. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and those wishing to take part need to line up at 9 a.m. Everyone is invited to take part in the parade whether it be in a car or on a horse.
Food at this year’s event is scheduled to include brisket, ribs, turkey legs and goat, along with homemade ice cream, chips and drinks.
