The Hooks Hornets are looking to be a strong district competitor this year coming off of a 4-7 overall record and a 3-3 district record in the 2021-2022 season.
Head Coach Chris Birdwell says the Hornets have four simple goals to focus on to help them be successful year after year. “We have to win game one as that helps set the tone for the year; we want to have a winning record in the preseason to give us momentum going into district, win the district championship and enter the playoffs, and then take home the state championship,” said Birdwell.
This year, Coach Birdwell plans to continue with the spread offense and the 3-4 defense that has proved successful in previous years.
