The New Boston Lions scored four times in the bottom of the 6th to overcome and 3-0 deficit and rally to beat the previous district leading Atlanta Rabb 4-3 Tuesday night.
Trailing 3-0 going into their half of the 6th, Kyle Atkinson started the inning with a walk that was followed by a 2-run blast off the bat of Brian Reid to make it 3-2. That was followed by a double from Connor Bobbitt, who would come around to score on a fielder’s choice by Trentyn Morris Hill after a walk to Caden Glass. Glass would then come in for the winning score after a wild pitch.
Brian Reid started the game for the Lions and held the explosive Atlanta offense to just three runs on five hits in 5 plus innings of work. Bobbit was credited with the win on the hill as he came in to relieve Reid and shut the Rabbs down not allowing another batter to reach base in his one and two-thirds innings of relief.
