This week's Dairy Queen Player of the Week is the undefeated district champion New Boston Lady Lions.
Coach Haylee Houston's squad ended district with a perfect 12-0 record, a 16-3 record to date for the season and ranked in the Top 25 in the state by the Texas Girls' Coaches Association in 3-A volleyball.
Senior leadership paved the way to the spotless district record with seniors, Tamiya Smith, Lauren Hurst, Haley McAlexander, Maggie Taylor, Emma Holland, Lauren Daniel and Megan Daniel leading the team.
