The New Boston Lady Lions beat Hooks in four sets last night, and in doing so, they claim the undisputed district championship. And the winning continues.
The Lady Lions came from behind to beat the Lady Hornets on their own floor, by a score of 21-25, 25-13, 25-14 and 25-20.
Senior Carleigh Reeves and Lauren Hurst provided the brute force up front for New Boston, as each ended the night with a dozen kills. Reeves added three blocks to round out a superb performance.
