The spectacular season for the New Boston Lady Lions volleyball team came to a close Tuesday night with a three set loss to the Prairiland Lady Patriots, one of the top ranked teams in the state.
It was a season that saw Coach Haylee Houston’s squad post a perfect 12-0 undefeated district record and a total season record of 32-10. They finished the season as Area Champions and gave the hometown faithful memories that will last a lifetime.
In the loss to Prairiland, Carleigh Reeves and Tamiya Smith each had five kills a pair of solo blocks, and Lauren Hurst had four kills. Senior Chloe Davis and Emma Holland also had three kills apiece.
