For some, basketball season has come to an end, and for some basketball season continues on. There were a host of teams in the area last night that played in the first round of the playoffs.
The De Kalb Bears took on the Mt. Vernon Tigers at Prairiland High School. It was a bit of a defensive battle as it was a low scoring affair. Sadly, for the Bears, the final score put Mt. Vernon on top, 38-32.
