The New Boston Lady Lions traveled down I-30 to Texarkana on Friday and knocked off the Texas High Lady Lady Tigers in four sets by a score of 25-16, 21-25, 25-22, 25-22.
It was a total team effort that earned the Lady Lions the Dairy Queen Player of the Week honors as Maggie Taylor had 17 service points and nine digs and senior Carlee Ratcliff added 19 digs and six kills.
Grace Duffer came up big with 22 assists and Carleigh Reeves and Tamiya Smith handled things up front with seven kills and six kills respectively.
