New Boston High School senior athlete Carlee Ratcliff announced today from Austin, Texas that she will continue her athletic career after graduation as a member of the University of Texas Longhorns softball program.
The announcement was made tonight after a visit with Longhorn Head Coach Mike White, which followed a tour yesterday of Red & Charline McCombs Field, the home of Texas Softball.
Ratcliff was the Tribune Female Athlete of the Year last year, after posting some of the best stats in Texas high school softball in 2019. This past year, she has been scouted by college programs all across the country, including Texas A&M, Houston and many others.
