This week's Dairy Queen Player of the Week is Chris "CJ" Betts of the DeKalb Bears.
Betts led the Bears' defense as the blanked the Queen City Bulldogs on Friday night 38-0. Betts was the leading tackler for DeKalb and returned a fumble recovery 50 yards for a touchdown to lead what can only be described as a complete domination of the opposing squad.
It was a defensive effort that included 16 team sacks, including four by Betts. Others included Londell Howard with three, JT Williams with three, Robert Culpepper with two, and one each from Devin Gaffney, Tristan Solheim, Ladarious Stephens and Dylan Hanna.
