Redwater downs New Boston with barrage in the 5th

In baseball action Tuesday night, the Redwater Dragons scored seven times in the bottom of the 5^th to overcome a 5-1 deficit and go on to defeat New Boston 8-5.

The Lions got on the board first with a sac fly off the bat of Isaac Whittington giving his squad the early lead. Four walks and a hit batsman helped the Redwater lineup score their seven runs that put the game away.

Malcolm Brown earned the win on the hill for Redwater allowing three hits and striking out 12 in six plus innings of work. Kyle Atkinson took the loss for the Lions allowing four hits and seven runs in his time on the mound.
