Every so often, far too often actually, we get a stark reminder that hate and bigotry still exist in our world, even here in our little rural piece of it.
If you watch the national news, (I do not) then you see it every day in the big cities where population density drives people to road rage and acts of hate every hour that the clock turns. But here in “the country” we do not see it as often, and often when we do it is because someone let their big mouth run when they didn’t think anyone was listening.
Our neighbors to the north are having to deal with this issue right now and the alleged racist, hateful and useless nonsense that was spoken by those who are (or were) in positions of authority in their community.
