The time has come for the election and on May 6 some big decisions will be made. In my eyes, there are no bigger issues than the two school bond elections. For the students and communities of Maud and New Boston, voters will decide whether the future will be brighter, or not. That is exactly how I look at the two issues.
A YES vote on the bond is a YES vote for the future of not only the students at those two schools, but the communities themselves.
Now you can say, Kenny you don’t have kids in school, why does it matter so much to you? My reply to you is that while I may not have kids in school, I do have a deep and abiding concern not only for the kids in our local schools, but in their futures and the futures of the towns they live in.
