I would like to share some information and simple facts, as a private citizen, about the upcoming Maud Independent School District (MISD) bond election to be held on May 6.
If the correct and trusted facts are not made available to the residents of MISD, things might be said and views held that are untrue and incorrect if the issues are misunderstood.
This bond effort has come about through necessity, not through happenstance. It is my opinion as a private citizen, and speaking for the “Vote For Our Cardinals” Bond Committee, that as we move ahead with the education of our children, certain facility improvements and upgrades are necessary in our school buildings. This becomes very evident if citizens take time to examine our schools. Data is being gathered and presented for those who want to be informed as you prepare to vote on May 6.
