Destiny Dimensions

Devotion 3: Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

This is one of the most powerful scriptures in the Bible about destiny. The Lord makes seven distinct remarks in this one verse. The first two words simply state, “Fear not.” This should be enough for us but the Lord graciously continues to speak. Then He affirms us by letting us know that He is with us. How in the world can we ever consider not fulfilling our destiny when the Lord is telling us that He is with us? The third thing the Lord says is, “Be not dismayed.” The word dismayed has 4 different definitions. The first definition of dismayed is to consider. You cannot even consider for one moment that you will not fulfill your destiny and hit the mark where God has aimed you.

The second thing dismayed means is to inspect. You can never inspect the possibilities of not completing the call and destiny that God has on your life. The third definition is to ponder. Never focus you on the illusion that you will not complete your destiny. The fourth definition is to gaze. Never gaze upon the negative or listen to critical voices. A negative mindset and negative people will pull you away from the destiny God has for you.
