Be a blacksmith

There is a woman that lives out in Leesburg, Texas that has known me since I was just a boy. She has been a friend, a mentor, a prayer warrior and many other things to me over the course of the last five decades.

It was in a Sunday morning sermon from Pastor Steven Furtick at Elevation Church that God showed me she has also been a blacksmith for me over all these years.

Now to understand that you have to understand what a blacksmith does and what they do with their trade. A blacksmith takes very rough and raw materials and uses their tools to make those materials into something useful. There is no doubt in my mind that my friend, Beverly Miller, has done her very best to be a blacksmith for my life, using the tools that God gave her.
