The New Boston Police department swears in Danny French as Corporal of the New Boston Police Department. Danny has been with the New Boston Police Department since August of 2011, starting as a full-time police officer.
Danny began working full-time for the Bowie County Sheriff’s Department starting in 2012 and during this time Danny remained a valued asset for the NBPD working parttime. After ten years of service, in December 2022, Danny returned to full-time status with the New Boston police department. Prior to Danny’s police career he served eight years as a corrections officer, in Kinney County and Bowie County Texas, rising to the level of Captain.
Police Chief Garry Mc-Crary says the decision to promote Danny to Corporal was an easy decision to make as he has worked with Danny for several years and Danny has the support and respect from the officers in the police department.
