Cale and Carol Branum of Texarkana, Texas along with Loran Mocny of Dallas, Texas are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Lauren Mocny-Branum to Brett Veuthey, the son of Joe and JoAnn Ramer and Roger Veuthey of Shreveport, Louisiana. Lauren is the granddaughter of Betty Willis Humes and the late Otis Willis of New Boston, Texas, the late Joyce and David Branum of Texarkana, Texas, the late Elaine Farr of New Boston, Texas, and the late Kenneth Mocny of Hinsdale, Illinois. She is a 2017 graduate of The University of Texas where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Education and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Language and Literacy from Texas Tech. She is a reading teacher in Austin, Texas. Brett Veuthey is the grandson of Ceceile Chavers and the late Walter Cleo Chavers of Pineville, Louisiana and the late Maragaret and Maurice Veuthey of Meadview, Arizona. Brett is a supervisor at Southwest Airlines in Austin, Texas.
