The 1st annual Gortney family reunion was held Saturday

The 1st annual Gortney family reunion was held Saturday, December 10th in New Boston, Texas. Honorary attendant was long-time resident, J. W. Gortney. Not many can say they have lived 92 years and still going strong enough to be able to gather with so many relatives and longtime friends, but he sure can. This is just a “few” of the family that were in attendance. Even though the weather was cold and wet, it didn’t stop everyone from having a great time. There was catered food by Loca Luna, prizes for everyone to win, and lots of laughs, smiles, and hugs. Special thanks to Shelly Whitney, John Gortney, and Teri McBee for organizing the event.
