Administrators announced an initiative Wednesday that will help cover costs for many students in obtaining a four-year degree at Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
“We want to do everything we can to help people get a four-year degree,” said Dr. Emily Cutrer, TAMU-T president. “We know that people are very concerned about the cost of a four-yeardegree. It has, through the decades, become more and more expensive and to many families seems to be out of reach.”
The Eagle Promise Initiative will fully cover addi- tuition for eligible students who do not qualify for enough financial aid through federal pell grants.
