Local business owner, Dianna Culberson has relied heavily on her faith in God while working diligently over the years to spread the message, with a side of fashion.
Dianna, who grew up in Corley, Texas and has lived in New Boston with her husband Bobby since they married in 1969, opened the Unique Boutique in August of 2006 after spending years vending jewelry and clothing at trade shows. She began praying that God would help her find a building so that she could follow a dream she had to bring unique fashions to people in the area; after a certain building deal fell through, she decided to take a drive downtown and stumbled across a building that at the time hosted Factory Connections. She spoke with the owner who was interested in renting and a deal was reached for Dianna to buy the building and Unique Boutique was born.
Bringing the latest fashion trends from clothing, jewelry, purses, shoes, and more, Dianna hopes to help others express themselves through their styles while also witnessing the Word of God to those who are willing to receive it. Starting out with part time opening hours, hiring help to run the boutique while she worked a full time job, Dianna stated, “I’ve worked hard to get here; I’ve made sacrifices and it was hard getting people to shop in the beginning.”
