Edith Christine Eubanks, of New Boston, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023 at a Texarkana, Texas hospital. She was 81.
Edith was born March 29, 1942, in Hallsville, Texas, to Leslie Lewis and Edith Margie Splawn Latham. She was a dietary cook for a nursing care facility and was a Baptist. Edith enjoyed reading and traveling but her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Earnest, Truman and Donnie Latham; three daughters, Mylinda Finley, Myranda Finley and Cynthia Granbery; and a grandson, Dominick Finley.
She is survived by a daughter, Marline Mitchell of New Boston, Texas; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mike and LaDonna Eubanks of Point, Texas, Patrick and Sheri Eubanks of New Boston, Texas and Anthony Eubanks of Simms, Texas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy and Robert Bailey of Maud, Texas and Patsy and Paul Mitchell of De Kalb, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
