Keith Wayne Willey passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at his home in De Kalb, Texas. He was 84.
Keith was born April 16, 1939, in Lubbock, Texas, to W. Keith and Mary Thelda Moore Willey. He was a retired plumber and a member of First United Methodist Church in De Kalb, Texas where he was a member of the Prayer Breakfast Group.
Keith was a Boy Scouts of America Leader, a member of De Kalb Masonic Lodge #9 and a member of the Eastern Star New Boston Chapter #700.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard Michael Willey; a brother, William Lloyd Willey; and a sister, Mary Bess Lynes.
He is survived by his wife, Molly Boyd Willey of De Kalb, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Wayne and Kristy Willey of De Kalb, Texas; a niece, Ronda Bartlett of Apache Junction, Arizona; two grandchildren, Rachael Willey and Wayne Thomas Willey; one great grandchild, Lynna Willey; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Rev. Amanda Stratton and Robby Bates officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
