Kendall “Kenny” Ray Meadows of De Kalb, Texas passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023.
Kenny was born December 6, 1939 in De Kalb, Texas to Leslie Oscar, Jr. and Ruby Marie Addison Meadows. Kenny graduated from De Kalb High School and received a dual scholarship from Texarkana Junior College both in basketball and baseball. Kenny proudly served as a Texas State Police Officer for Texas as a DPS Trooper then a DPS Pilot for almost 40 years. Kenny said his proudest memory was asking his wife, Betty Gaulden to marry him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Meadows; and one brother, Dale Meadows.
He leaves behind two sons, Keith Meadows and his partner, Lori Copeland and Kevin Meadows and his wife, Gisela Macedo; three grandchildren, Dylan, Dakota, and Karson; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Robby Bates officiating.
