Caroline Walker Phillips formerly of New Boston, Texas passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. She was 81.
Caroline was born March 12, 1942 in Dalby Springs, Texas to James Colon and Avalene Beulah Cooper Walker. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and growing vegetables.
Caroline was a member of First Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Garland Walker.
She is survived by her husband, O.B. Phillips of Dallas, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Julie Phillips of Simi Valley, California and Benjamin and Rebecca Phillips of Carrollton, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Christen and Derek Wilson of Dallas, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mickey and Vi Walker of Sun City, Arizona and James Gary and Nina Walker of Stayton, Oregon; one sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and John Petsch of Springfield, Oregon; one sister-in-law, Peggy Walker of Roseburg, Oregon; grandchildren, Oliver and Elli Phillips of Carrollton, Texas, Truman and Tate Wilson of Dallas, Texas, Linsay Phillips of Boulder, Colorado, Trinity Lewis and Zach Pyle of Washington, D.C.; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas with Dr. Patrick Hunter and Dr. Ken Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Wards Creek Cemetery in Simms, Texas under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 14, 2023 at First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas.
