Tanner Chase Turner, 26, of Los Angeles passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023 after a long, brave battle with addiction.
Tanner was born March 10, 1997 in Fort Worth, Texas.
He is the son of Edward and Elicia Heaston.
Tanner is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Billy Sikes and great grandparents, Chuck and Ellien Turner.
Tanner is survived by his parents; his son, Nathaniel Ace of Houston, Texas; his siblings, Nicholas, Grace, Kathryn, and Amelia; his grandparents, Glenda Maxwell and Edward and Carolyn Heaston; great grandmother, Maudine Sikes; his aunt, Christina Jones; his uncle, Billy Don Sikes; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Addiction doesn’t discriminate. It will take hold and destroy anyone in it’s path, including the families and people who love them. Tanner had dreams of raising his son and meeting his new sister. He fought to the very end, but couldn’t break the cycle of addiction. He was very open about his struggles and I hope his struggles will push his friends or anyone struggling even harder for sobriety.
