Nita Landreth of De Kalb, Texas passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 at a Texarkana, Texas care facility. She was 88.
Nita was born April 6, 1934, in Madisonville, Texas, to Clyde Edwin and Martha Jane Johnson Salinas. She was a retired sales clerk, having worked at the Short Stop and Piggly Wiggly for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Burton Landreth; 2 brothers; 4 sisters; and a stepson, Jimmy Landreth.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Venette Landreth of De Kalb, Texas; a stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, James “Peck” and Molly Landreth of De Kalb, Texas; two grandchildren, Jeremy Landreth and Ashley Landreth; five great grandchildren, Shadow Johnson, Tinslee Landreth, Taylor King, Blakelie Forsyth and Sydni Forsyth; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Springhill Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas with Robby Bates officiating.
