Virginia Sue Crawford passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023 at her home in Simms, Texas. She was 79.
Virginia was born July 17, 1943 in Maud, Texas. She was a retired Health Care Worker and a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny Wesley Crawford; a daughter, Kristi Crawford; a son, Robbie Lynn Crawford; and a sister, Trudy Mathis.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Tracie Crawford of Simms, Texas; a brother and sister-inlaw, Jimmy and Pat Goza of Texarkana, Texas; five grandchildren, Jon Logan Crawford and his wife, Lauren, Tyler Crawford and his wife, Mary, Landon Crawford, Lakyn Crawford and Jordan Gammons; 4 great grandchildren, Chloe Crawford, McKenna Crawford, Wyatt Crawford and Caden Crawford; special friends, James and Nila Addy; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Bro. Steve Minter officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Simms, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
