Neal Phillips passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at his home in New Boston, Texas. He was 93.
Neal was born November 17, 1929 in De Kalb, Texas to Henry David and Mary Florence Pierce Phillips. He was a career veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in WWII, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War. He was a retired warehouseman for DLA at Red River Army Depot. In his younger years, Neal was a semi-pro baseball player. He was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ellen “Sally” Phillips; three brothers, James “Shug” Phillips, Teddy Phillips, and Dee Phillips; one sister, Evelyn Sisson; and one sister-in-law, Marilyn Phillips.
