Georgia Faye Davis Mitchell passed away on February 25, 2023, in a local nursing home, she was 91.
Georgia was born on September 12, 1931 to Lee Andrew Davis Sr. and Laura Elma Phillips Davis.
She was a homemaker and a member of The Order of The Eastern Star Jefferson Chapter 554 and The New Boston Chapter 700. She was a member of the Wades Chapel Methodist Church.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, William “Billy” Davis and Floyd Mitchell; two sisters, Mary Suggs and Betty Davis Arnold; brother, Thomas Davis; daughter, Lora Jean “Jeannie” Warren; two son-n-laws, Eddie Warren Sr., and James D. Harmon and great-great grandson Aiden Calvin Bustos.
Georgia is survived by one brother, Lee Andrew Davis Jr. of Ashdown, Ark.; two daughters, Sandra Harmon of New Boston, TX, and Deborah Eldredge of Ashdown, Ark; five grandchildren; William Dennis Harmon, Eddie Warren Jr., Veronica McHam, Angie Rushing and Calvin Funk; nineteen great grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be at 12:00 Tuesday February 28 th at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, Ark.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 following visitation at the Arden Cemetery with Brother Jim Cross officiating .
