Michele Denise Shaw of Texarkana, Texas passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at a local hospital.
She was 60.
Michele was born November 23, 1962 in Naples, Texas to Willis Edward Durham and Evone Eller Adcock. She was a home healthcare provider. Michele was a member of Wards Creek Missionary Baptist Church, but attended Godley Prairie Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her father; a step mother, Esther Durham; a step father, Doug Tidwell; two step brothers, Jimmie Smith and David Smith; and one stepdaughter, Kristy Shaw Barton.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Shaw of Texarkana, Texas; her mother, Evone Tidwell of New Boston, Texas; three daughters and one son-in-law, Lacey Foster of Malta, Texas; Chelsea Shaw of Nash, Texas, and Caitlain and Jacob Gillihan of Foreman, Arkansas; two stepsons, Charles Shaw, Jr. of Texarkana, Texas and Dillon Shaw of Texarkana, Texas; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Reba and Ricky Foster of Simms, Texas, Janell Olson of New Boston, Texas, and Angiela Tidwell and Tommy Weir of Simms, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David Tidwell and Jamie Storey of De Kalb, Texas and Douglas and LeeAnn Tidwell of Simms, Texas; one step sister, Sissy Privitt of Texarkana, Texas; nine grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Bro. Jimmy Ramsey officiation. Interment will follow at Wards Creek Cemetery in Simms, Texas.
Visitation were held 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
