OBIE LEE ADAMS

Obie Lee Adams passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022 at his home in De Kalb, Texas. He was 89.

Obie was born November 19, 1933 in Tomball, Texas to Christopher Steve Adams, Sr and Armindia Lee Tanner Adams. He was a member of First Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas where he sang in the choir.

Obie was a member of the De Kalb Chamber or Commerce, where he served as a board member, the De Kalb City Council, and Keep De Kalb Beautiful. He was active in the De Kalb Oktoberfest Committee. Before moving to De Kalb, he was employed with the North American Steel Corp, Galloway Furniture Manufacturing, and Gulf American Properties, all in Florida.
