Charlotte Steed “Nana” Tuggle of Hooks, Texas passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 at a Texarkana, TX hospital.
She was 72.
Charlotte was born July 12, 1950 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Ross and Dorothy Wilson Steed. She married Orvan Tuggle on July 21, 1972 and was married to him for 18,423 days. Charlotte was a retired Equipment Allocator for Red River Army Depot. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in De Kalb.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Orvan R. Tuggle of Hooks, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Melethia Tuggle of Frisco, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Jen and Mike Black of Marco Island, Florida; one sister and brother-in-law, Ivy Jo and Rick Hardemon of Hooks, Texas; five grandchildren, Hunter Tuggle, Jordan Mangum, Taigen Molitor, Livia Molitor, and Kilah Tuggle; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Tuggle Springs Cemetery Pavilion in Red River County, Texas.
Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 6, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
