Robert Gene Ford passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 at his home in De Kalb, Texas. He was 84.
Gene was born August 21, 1938, in Texarkana, Texas, to Ollie Lee and Dottie Edith Ford. He was retired from Red River Army Depot where he worked as a mechanic for over 20 years. Gene was also a welder, a pipe fitter, a farmer and a member of Cross Power Church in New Boston, Texas. He absolutely adored his family and grandkids and had an unconditional love for all. He enjoyed family gatherings, traveling, working his cows, telling stories and pulling pranks.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Lynda Ford and Beverly Ford; a sister, Barbara Ford; and a brother, Kenneth Ford.
