On January 28, 2023, Harry Thomas “Butch” Greenwood departed this life into Glory at Texarkana, Texas at the age of 83.
Mr. Greenwood was born April 18, 1939 in Syracuse, New York to Robert Nelson Greenwood and Ruth Kemp Greenwood. Both parents preceded him in death as did his older brother, Robert Charles Greenwood.
Mr. Greenwood served in the US Army for 3 years and 3 months and was employed at Red River Army Depot for 30 years. He retired as Chief, Ammunition Missile Maintenance Division. After retirement, his passion was gardening where he grew tomatoes in quantity to give to anyone, always for free. Mr. Greenwood was a member of First Baptist Church, Hooks, Texas since April 11, 1993.
