John Stanley Cross passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at his home in De Kalb, Texas. He was 76.
Stan was born March 18, 1946 in Atlanta, Texas to John T. And Johnnie Fay Avery Cross. He was a retired elementary school teacher and a lifetime member of the TSTA. Stan was a member of Malta Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Director and Church Treasurer. For many years he also served as Associational Bible Drill Director and Sunday School Teacher. He was was a member of the Gideons International.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sisterin- love, Violet Fomby; one nephew, Ryan Johns; and one daughter, Shawna Kennedy.
