Jesse was born January 4, 1987 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Joe and Glenda Strain. He was a former natural gas pump mechanic for Parks Energy.
Jesse was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and was an Eagle Scout. He was a member of De Kalb Church of Christ.
