Ty Ramsey Frost of Simms, Texas passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022 in Oklahoma. He was 18.
Ty was born December 14, 2003 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Timothy Adam Frost and Shannon Renea Ramsey. He was a Co-owner and heavy equipment operator for Lone Star Construction.
Ty was a member of SW Arkansas Rodeo Association in Texarkana, Arkansas and enjoyed cowboying, riding, roping, and other outdoor sports. He was a member of Godley Prairie Community Church in New Boston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, William Archie Frost and a grandmother, Myrtle Dois Ramsey. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Shannon and Clint Telford of Andrews, Texas; his father and stepmother, Tim and Ellen Frost of Simms, Texas; his maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Gale Ramsey of De Kalb, Texas; his paternal grandmother, Wanda Frost of Simms, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Kaitlyn and Josh Garton-Walker of Malta, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Austin and Tori Pritchett of Nash, Texas; two nieces, Avery Garton-Walker and Raleigh Pritchett; two nephews, Adam Garton-Walker and Tripp Pritchett; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 2:00 Friday, August 26, 2022 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Rev. Jimmy Ramsey, Rev. Steve Minter, and Rev. Jamie Cowan officiation. Interment followed at Woodmen Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas.
Visitation was held 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
