Betty Rose Bunger of Dallas, Texas passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 at a Mesquite Texas care facility. She was 86.
Betty was born August 31, 1935 in De Kalb, Texas to Otis and Ruby Smith Barrett. She was a homemaker and a member of Woosley Baptist Church.
Betty was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oral J. Bunger; two sons, Otis and Eddie Bunger; and two brothers, Charlie Miller and James Miller.
She is survived by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Pat Gundermuth of Wylie, Texas and Bonnie and Dick Hammond of McKinney, Texas; two grandchildren, Beau Bunger and Kaeli Bunger; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas. Interment followed at Woodmen Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas.
