Joe Bob Hamilton of De Kalb, Texas passed from his earthly life to his heavenly home on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the age of 97.
Mr. Hamilton was born August 30, 1924 to Robert and Clara Atchley Hamilton in Sheridan, Arkansas. Mr. Hamilton was retired from Red Ball Motor Freight and was a member of First United Methodist Church in De Kalb, Texas. He loved spending time with his family and working on his farm, until he wasn’t able to anymore.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 72 years, Wanda McMillan Hamilton; one brother, R.L. Hamilton; and two sisters, Cora Hamilton Hegler and Nora Hamilton Liles.
