BETTY JEAN FEAZEL

Betty Jean Feazel passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at her home in De Kalb, Texas, surrounded by her family. She was 87.


Betty was born December 12, 1934, in Linden, Texas, to Ed and Omega Pearl Erwin Kitchen. She was a retired Bank Teller from Texarkana National Bank and was a member of De Kalb Church of Christ.


She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 66 years, Giles Feazel; one daughter, Leslie Lynn Feazel; four brothers, Charles Kitchen, Glenn “Punkin” Kitchen, Floyd Kitchen and Sam Kitchen; and two sisters, Inez Thames and Billie Petree.


She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Gary Dennis of Carrolton, Texas and Torre and Cris Smith of Waxahachie, Texas; a son, Tommy Feazel of De Kalb, Texas; six grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer and Jerry Setliff of Springdale, Arkansas, Jamie and Randy Miller of Cleveland, Tennessee, Sydney and Raymond Powers of Grand Prairie, Texas, Spencer Feazel of De Kalb, Texas, Taylor and Stephen Erickson of Imperial, California and Taryn and Justin Haines of Belton, Texas; seven great grandchildren, Lillie, Hunter, Kinsley, Reagan, Easton, Joseph and Noah; and numerous other relatives and friends.


Services were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at De Kalb Church of Christ with Buddy Ray officiating. Interment followed at Woodmen Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas.


Visitation was held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at De Kalb Church of Christ.
