Vernard Terral Smith of Nash, Texas passed away, Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at a Texarkana, Texas hospital. He was 65.
Vernard was born November 23, 1956 in New Boston, Texas to Clarence Riley and Dorothy Jo Terral Smith. Vernard was a Veteran of the United States Army and a retired rubber worker with Red River Army Depot. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Julia M. Smith of Nash, Texas; his son, William D. Smith of Leitchfield, Kentucky; his significant other, Stephanie Boggiano of Nash, Texas; two sisters, Marsha McKeehan of Genoa, Arkansas and Jarita Norton of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, John Riley Smith of De Kalb, Texas; one grandchild, Abbigail McBride; and numerous other relatives and friends.
