Beatrice May of De Kalb, Texas passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at a Texarkana, Texas hospital.
She was 85.
Beatrice was born January 28, 1937 in De Kalb, Texas to William L. and Viola Faye Martin McKinnie.
She was a grocery clerk for Save Mart Grocery Store and was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, W.L. “Junior” McKinnie.
She is survived by her husband, A.R. May; two daughters and one son-in-law, Shelia and Bob King of De Kalb, Texas and Mona Elrod of De Kalb, Texas; one sister, Ruby Wood of Gladewater, Texas; two grandchildren, Christopher King and his wife, Whitney of New Boston, Texas and Chelsie Elrod of Corinth, Texas; one great grandchild, Dalton King of New Boston, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation to be carried out under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
