Emmie Inez Stewart, age 84 of Texarkana, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at her residence. Ms. Stewart was born June 8, 1938 in Avinger, Texas. She was formerly a Production Worker with Day & Zimmerman, Baptist and is preceded in death by her parents, Johhny W. and Ola B. Pate, a son, Marty Austin Stewart, a daughter, Donna Marie Lee Chadwick and a number of brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Eddie Chadwick of Texarkana, Texas, Johnny M. Chadwick of Texarkana, Texas, Jay Allen Stewart of New Boston, Texas, daughters, Angelia Summerville of Texarkana, Texas, Bessie Shirley of New Boston, Texas, Becky Simmons of New Boston, Texas, one brother and wife, Hugh and Diane Pate of Shawnee, Oklahoma, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston, Texas with Bro. James Ross officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 before services. Private burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery, New Boston, Texas under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston.
