Rush Hayes Thompson, son of Daniel and Haley Burleson Thompson of New Boston, Texas, passed away July 28, 2022 at a Texarkana, Texas hospital.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Haley Burleson Thompson; a brother, Ridge Thompson; grandparents, Holly and Randy Burleson and Ronnie and Traci Thompson; great grandparents, Loyd and Shirley Smith, Tommy and Sherry Russell, Jim and Elaine Parker, Billy and Nancy Burleson, Gary and Karen Tipton and Kitty Phillips; great great grandmother Nettie Evelyn Black; an uncle, Hunter Burleson; an aunt, Kaley Thompson; cousins, Layla and Ledger Burleson; and numerous other relatives.

Private services will be held at a later date.
