Peggy Annette Mc-Cullough of Rowlett, Texas passed away June 25, 2022. She was 66.
Peggy was born July 24, 1955 in Tyler, Texas to Billy Joe and Lois Laverne Byrd McCullough. She graduated from Marshall High School and earned her Batchelor’s Degree in Education from UT Arlington. Peggy was a public school teacher for 30 years, 29 of those with Garland ISD. She retired in 2013. Peggy loved to travel, especially to Colorado, and made numerous trips there over the years.
She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her uncle, Dwight Byrd; first cousin, Randall Byrd; special friend, Rex Covington; and several other relatives and friends.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Rev. Steve Minter officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Simms, Texas.
Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
