The New Boston Chamber of Commerce hosted a pair of ribbon cuttings in the last week, first for the Grand Opening of the new Love’s Travel Center, located at the junction of Hwy. 82 and Interstate 30 in New Boston.
Then, on Saturday, the Chamber hosted a special ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. as State Bank celebrated the opening of its seventh location. The event included lots of dignitaries, officials, members of their bank, Chamber members, food, festivities, a bounce house and a magician. State Representative Gary VanDeaver was on hand to cut the ceremonial ribbon.
